Our Story
The Rowlands/Breese family have been welcoming guests to the farm since 1964 when John’s grandparents, Gwyn & Glenys, decided to buy Cefn Crib. The site was a bit different then with small touring caravans on the static pitches, but over the years the site has grown. Some of the original families are still here and love spending time at Cefn Crib.
John and I manage the Caravan Park, for John’s parents, which includes 42 static caravans and 18 touring caravans.
In 2014 we set up our glamping site on the farm. We now have 4 luxury glamping bell tents, a shepherd’s hut and a cabin. We also have our little cottage available for guests since September 2024. It’s a family affair, with both of us and our children, Megan, Ieuan & Gwenllian, all pitching in.
Cefn Crib is part of a 1,000 acre farming enterprise which John farms alongside his brother Arwyn and their dad, Ron.
John sorts all the jobs on our glamping accommodation and on the caravan park and I take care of all admin, marketing and changeovers of our glamping accommodation, and will be your point of contact from the initial booking through to welcoming you onto the site on arrival.
I think John’s Grandad would be proud of all that we have achieved, and we are very lucky to be guardians of this amazing place for future generations!
